About The Band

Six years after Big Hit Entertainment debuted the boy band BTS, we now we know their new group will be called TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) (Hangul: 투모로우바이투게더). The K-pop rookies' debut attracted widespread interest - thanks, in part, to their company association with labelmates BTS.

On January 11, 2019 (KST), the company revealed the first member in an apparent series of member reveals: Yeonjun. Big Hit describes him as a "19-year-old member with outstanding dancing skills." After the official website went live, a countdown suggested that new information would be available within 72 hours.

"TOMORROW X TOGETHER is a bright and youthful boy band where each member is different from one another, shining in their own way to create a synergy," the label said in a press release. "Just as how their name suggests, the different members have all come together under one dream in hopes of building a new tomorrow."

TOMORROW X TOGETHER is pronounced "Tomorrow by Together" and shortened to TXT only in text. The group members have said in interviews that they will prefer to be called by the full name "Tomorrow by Together". The new boy band retains the English words in the Korean version of their name, 투모로우바이투게더

The global excitement over the new group can be measured in the jaw-dropping accumulation of social media engagement. Fifteen hours after the announcement went live, TXT amassed over 600,000 Twitter followers, almost 450,000 Instagram followers and 6 million views on Yeonjun's introduction film.

On March 4, 2019 TXT made their grand debut!

On March 6, 2019 just days after their debut with "The Dream Chapter: Star" and the hit MV "Crown" Republic Records - the American record label owned by Universal Music Group, also the home to Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Drake, DNCE, Jonas Brothers, and more - announced they signed a distribution deal with TXT. Because of this the group is expected to have active international promotions similar to their label senior, BTS.

On April 25, 2019 the group officially announced their fan name. "Young One" was unanimously chosen by the members out of the many suggestions their fans sent to them. The number "0" is pronounced as "young" in Korean, so it means, "We were nothing (0), and then we became one." "YOUNG ONE" also means "forever" in Korean. A few days later after some comments Big Hit Entertainment decided to not use this fandom name as another groups fandom was also Young One. On August 21, 2019 TXT released their new and final fandom name and stated that MOA stands for "Moments of Alwaysness."
